Once upon a time, there was a girl who was enchanted by children’s books. The spell was so strong that one day she decided that she too wanted to make a book. She worked on it on the floor of her brother’s room.
And she worked and worked. Many years passed, she tried different ideas, wrote new stories. More years passed, until one day one idea jumped onto the paper in front of her, through pen and crayons, already wanting to become a book. This was how I got my first book, “O Risco e o Fio”, published!
Now I have been dedicating more time for writing, and have been quite immersed in children’s literature, as I’m doing Roehampton University’s PGDip course on the subject.
I have been also having fun on this Playing Field, creating the ‘Mini Silly Stories’. For some added spice, I will try to get contributions from different illustrators for each story. Feel free to give me feedback!

Caraca!

Novamente a questão é o idioma…

Hi Ana,
How’s going with ‘the books in the list’?
I’m reading Framed by Frank Cottrell Boyce at the moment and I find it is very interesting. I don’t want to spoil your enjoyment so not gonna say about the plot.
If you come across it,read it.
And if you need to refresh your mind and your eyes, then go to bbc.co.uk and go to children and then primary(ks2) bitesize and finally go to Questionaut.
Feast your eyes and test you Key Stage 2(aged 8 and 11) knowledge. Enjoy!
See you very soon!

Reading my comment(above)again,I’ve found
some grammar mistakes and I don’t know how
to correct them! So read between the lines!

Ana,아나 (your name in Korea)
I’ve just finished Framed. It is a children’s book and it’s for older ones.
You can read it and see the paintings in your head. I’m giving you a big clue.
Glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed the Questionaut. You can go up to stage 8.
Try again, you will get new questions.
I’m going to Fariba’s next Wednesday after school with the girls. Hope you can join us. Fariba will contact you.
Happy reading!
